‘Green Magic’ Hybrid Broccoli is a compact, vigorous variety similar to the popular ‘Gypsy’ Hybrid Broccoli, with comparable heat tolerance and an even more compact growth habit. Plants produce smooth, well-domed blue-green heads with tightly packed, medium-sized beads and excellent uniformity.
Start ‘Green Magic’ indoors for transplanting or sow directly in the garden when conditions are suitable for broccoli. Grow plants in fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture to support steady growth and uniform head development.
Harvest the main head once it is firm, well formed, and the beads are still tight. ‘Green Magic’ handles warmer conditions especially well, making it a strong choice for summer and fall harvests when many broccoli varieties struggle.
