Growing Information
Growing Shock Wave® Deep Purple Spreading Petunia
‘Shock Wave® Deep Purple’ is a spreading petunia prized for its vivid deep purple flowers, early flowering, and quick recovery after challenging weather. Compact, mounded plants rapidly fill with blooms, creating a dense carpet of rich color in both garden beds and containers.
Plant ‘Shock Wave® Deep Purple’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 10 to 15 inches apart. Grow in full sun to partial shade. Germination typically takes 7 to 14 days. Its compact growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to containers and smaller gardens.
Ready to bloom in about 84 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. Plants rebound quickly after rain, helping them maintain a fresh, colorful appearance throughout the season.
Vibrant, resilient, and compact, ‘Shock Wave® Deep Purple’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, containers, window boxes, hanging baskets, and smaller gardens.

Another first for me but definitely beautiful.

Since you asked, I’m very unhappy with the germination of the seeds ordered. The petunias had a zero percent germination rate and the tomatillos has less that 30% germination rate. Not impressed with my first time order. Not anxious to place another. Please let me know how you plan to compensate me and give me assurance that a next order will be satisfactory. Wish I had looked at reviews before placing an order. You have many poor reviews.

I was looking forward to these petunias. They came packaged in their own little vials. Planted them as I have in the past but not a single one grew. I would not recommend.
