Peach Reaper Pepper Plants

‘Peach Carolina Reaper,’ also known as ‘California Reaper,’ is a super-hot pepper variety prized for its signature Carolina Reaper heat paired with a brighter, fruitier flavor. The wrinkled pods mature to an attractive peach color and develop the long pointed stingers characteristic of Reaper-type peppers.

Plant ‘Peach Carolina Reaper’ seedlings in full sun after all danger of frost has passed and temperatures have warmed. Set plants in rich, well-drained soil with enough space for good air circulation and healthy growth. Water consistently while plants establish, avoid overly wet soil, and provide regular feeding throughout the season to support flowering and fruit production.

The 2- to 6-inch seedlings arrive ready for transplanting and can develop into vigorous plants reaching about 3 to 4 feet tall. Harvest peppers once they have reached full size and developed their mature peach color. Wear gloves when harvesting, cutting, or processing these peppers, and avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Intensely hot with citrusy, fruity flavor, ‘Peach Carolina Reaper’ is well suited for hot sauces, fruit jams, jellies, seafood dishes, marinades, and other spicy recipes where both heat and flavor can stand out.
