Vigorous pole type growing to 10 ft. and yielding a huge crop of slender, tasty pods. Best picked at about 12 in. for maximum tenderness, then cooked in oil as a stir-fry, sautéed or deep fried. Flavor is beany but with an asparagus hint. Needs strong support. Red seeded. Pole.
