‘Little Marvel’ is an open-pollinated pea prized for its early maturity, exceptional productivity, and compact dwarf vines. Dark green, nearly round pods are packed with 7 to 8 large, deep green peas that have tender skins and are especially easy to shell by hand.
Sow ‘Little Marvel’ directly in the garden about 1 inch deep and space plants 12 to 18 inches apart. Grow in full sun to partial shade. Its compact vines require no staking and are especially well suited to containers and smaller gardens.
Ready to harvest in about 63 days, pick pods regularly once they become plump and well filled for the sweetest, most tender peas.
