Growing Eversweet Everbearing Strawberry Plants

‘Eversweet’ is a productive everbearing strawberry variety prized for its exceptionally sweet flavor, large bright red berries, and reliable performance in warm, humid conditions. Firm fruit combines excellent texture with rich sweetness, making this variety a strong choice for gardeners who want flavorful berries over a long season.

Plant ‘Eversweet’ strawberries in full sun, spacing plants 12 to 18 inches apart in rows 3 to 4 feet apart. Set each plant so the crown sits at soil level, taking care not to bury it. Choose rich, well-drained soil with a pH of about 5.8 to 6.5, keep the soil evenly moist throughout the growing season, and apply mulch to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

As an everbearing variety, ‘Eversweet’ produces two or more harvests during the season, typically beginning in early summer with additional fruit later in summer or fall. Heat-tolerant and disease-resistant plants continue producing well even as temperatures rise and are best suited to USDA Zones 5–9.

Sweet, firm, and flavorful, ‘Eversweet’ strawberries are excellent for fresh eating, desserts, freezing, and other everyday uses. Its combination of heat tolerance, extended production, and outstanding flavor makes it a dependable choice for gardeners in warmer climates.

I ordered 25 of this variety and 25 of another, and maybe 2-3 out of the 50 didn't develop and it is probably my fault.. The already started flowering (which I removed)
