Growing Information

Growing Dalmation Hybrid Mix Foxglove

‘Dalmation Mix’ is a hybrid foxglove blend prized for its first-year flowering, compact growth, and beautifully patterned blooms. Well-branched plants produce tall flower spikes in shades of cream, purple, and peach, each marked with distinctive speckled throats for an elegant, dramatic display.

Surface sow ‘Dalmation Mix’ pelleted seeds and space plants 12 to 18 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 14 to 21 days. Its compact growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to containers and smaller gardens.

Ready to bloom in about 125 days, enjoy the flowers as the tall spikes open and reach their best display stage. Cut stems at their peak for dramatic indoor arrangements or leave them standing to add height and color to the garden.

Elegant, colorful, and compact, ‘Dalmation Mix’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, containers, cottage gardens, and cut flower plantings.

Foxgloves are poisonous if eaten!
