Creamy White Marigold
Growing Creamy White Marigold
‘Creamy’ is a distinctive marigold variety prized for its large, creamy-white blooms, taller growth, and softer fragrance. This economical variety offers a similar look to ‘Vanilla Cream Hybrid’ while growing slightly taller, with much of the traditional marigold scent reduced.
Plant ‘Creamy’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 8 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 4 to 7 days. This heat- and drought-tolerant variety performs especially well in warm, sunny conditions.
Ready to bloom in about 60 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. The large, pale blooms create an elegant contrast when planted alongside brighter annuals.
Soft, distinctive, and dependable, ‘Creamy’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, mass plantings, and the backs of mixed flower displays.
