So, I'm growing out 20 of these Time Bomb plants and have harvested just under 2lbs of ripe, bright red, beautiful looking peppers. The only question I have is, why are these not the same round Time Bomb peppers I grew out last year? These peppers are growing into a sort of bell pepper/heart shape. I have some plants I purchased at the local nursery that are pumping out nice, rounded Time Bombs. Now, that's just a minor complaint really, because in terms of flavor and heat, these peppers really are phenomenal. Thick walled, very tasty, and spicy enough for everyone I know who likes the hot stuff. Some of them are growing larger than the largest round TB pepper I had last year and I will not hesitate to buy them again for next years crop. Whatever they crossed with to change their shape, certainly didn't effect their flavor and appeal.
