Growing Information

Growing Moon Vine Alba

‘Moon Vine’ is an open-pollinated moon vine prized for its enormous pure white blooms, vigorous climbing growth, and captivating fragrance. Large flowers open in the early evening, filling the garden with scent overnight before closing around midday the following day.

Plant ‘Moon Vine’ seeds about ½ inch deep and space plants 6 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 5 to 14 days. This heat-tolerant vine performs especially well through warm summer conditions.

Ready to bloom in about 90 days, enjoy the enormous flowers as they open each evening and reach their best display stage. The vigorous vines provide dramatic vertical growth along with fragrant nighttime color.

Fragrant, vigorous, and dramatic, ‘Moon Vine’ is an excellent choice for trellises, fences, arbors, pergolas, and ornamental garden plantings.
