I don't understand why anyone would waste the time growing bush been that are breed to mature all at the same time for mechanical harvest and bend over to harvest everything in a week. These are one of the best pole beans for fresh and number 1 for canning. When canning beans you want round not flat uniform long beans to make cooking process the best and Monde Gusto is tops. The plants rapidly grow up the stings or a pole and start to mature from the bottom up. By October I'm picking 7' up with no stooping or mud from rain. I'm famous here for my MG/Fortex dilly and cilantro pickled beans that are cut to size to fit tall 1/2 quart canning jars.
