Growing Information

Growing Mango Tango Marigold

‘Mango Tango’ is an award-winning French marigold and 2025 All-America Selections Winner prized for its fiery bicolor blooms, compact growth, and outstanding garden performance. Also recognized as a Fleuroselect Approved Novelty, its semi-double flowers combine soft primrose-yellow petals with bold red flames for a vivid, eye-catching effect.

Plant ‘Mango Tango’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 8 to 10 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 4 to 7 days. Compact plants reach about 8 to 10 inches tall and are well suited to containers and smaller gardens. This variety also offers excellent heat tolerance.

Ready to bloom in about 70 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. Bushy plants begin flowering early and continue producing brilliant color from summer through fall.

Bright, compact, and award winning, ‘Mango Tango’ is an excellent choice for containers, borders, beds, mass plantings, cut flower gardens, and pollinator-friendly plantings.

y be purchasing and replanting next year! I’ll even have many seeds of my own to save. These are fantastic. Perfect for lower beds or borders. Love them with my dreamland hybrid low growing red zinnias!

Low Germination Rate – Very Disappointed

I purchased the Mango Tango Marigold Seeds and was disappointed with the germination rate. Out of all the seeds I planted, only 11 germinated. I followed the planting instructions carefully, so I expected a much better result. Unfortunately, this was not what I anticipated from the product.
