Growing SimplyHerbs™ Try Basil

‘SimplyHerbs™ Try Basil’ is an innovative basil blend prized for its variety of colors, textures, and flavors in one convenient multi-seed pellet. Each pellet contains a mixture of dark green Genovese types, a purple-leaved basil, and a serrated-leaf type, creating an attractive and flavorful miniature herb garden.

Start ‘SimplyHerbs™ Try Basil’ indoors for transplanting or sow directly where conditions allow. Plant about ¼ inch deep and space plants 12 to 16 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Sow one or two pellets in a 6-inch pot or directly in the garden. This heat-tolerant blend is especially well suited to containers.

Ready to begin harvesting in about 28 days, cut leaves as needed once plants are established.

Colorful, convenient, and flavorful, ‘SimplyHerbs™ Try Basil’ is excellent for fresh cooking, garnishes, drying, and mixed herb dishes.
