Horseradish Plants
The Horseradish Plant is a hardy, long-lived perennial grown for its spicy, flavorful roots used to make the traditional condiment of the same name. With a pungent aroma and bold heat, freshly ground horseradish adds a delicious kick to sauces, meats, and marinades.
A vigorous and dependable grower, horseradish thrives in USDA Zones 3–9 and can produce for many years once established. It’s an easy-to-grow root crop that tolerates poor soil, cold winters, and neglect — making it a perfect addition for home gardeners and kitchen enthusiasts.
