2016 AAS Winner. Our first pumpkin to garner AAS recognition due to its culinary and decorative uses. Nearly round fruits yield lots of pale yellow flesh that’s ideal for pies and canning. Unusual seeds are hulless or “naked,” meaning they are easy to eat after slow-roasting. Mature fruits are a beautiful orange with decorative green stripes that are certain to add interest to fall displays. Disease-resistant vines produce 5 to 6 fruits per plant.

My favorite

This has become my favorite pumpkin. It grows well in my hot summer climate, it is small to medium in size, and I like the naked seeds. It is a good pie pumpkin, bread pumpkin, and just good eating pumpkin. My dog loves it as well. The one bad, for me, thing about it is I waited until January to try and open the last one. It was so hard I couldn't cut into it. I tried throwing it on the ground and it just bounced! It is best, in my opinion, to process it early after harvest when you can still cut into it.
