European cocktail cucumber that’s seedless, spineless, thin-skinned, smooth, dark green, crisp and perfect for fresh snacking! Flavor is mild and cool, with a slight melon undertone. Short- vined plants are good when trellised, grown in containers or in the field. Prolific yields, even under adverse conditions, as they do not need pollination to set fruit.

Best Indoor & Outdoor Cucumber

I’m very impressed by the Iznik variety! I purchased just 5 seeds for my indoor hydroponic set up and all 5 germinated. They all grew vertically up a trellis Kratky style in Aerogarden nutrients with just nutrient water top offs in each of their 5 gallon pails. The main vines reached 5’ in length and each had a couple shorter side vines- yet each main vine had too many cucumbers to count. By day 49 I was harvesting the first 4” cucumber and there were a bunch more ripening up and ready soon after. The flavor is mellow and slightly sweet with a nice crisp texture. Perfect for snacking, sandwiches & salads. This is a very prolific, disease resistant, and easy to grow variety for indoor hydroponics aside from the main 5’ vine which is easy to accommodate- and that makes this variety perfect for small spaces! No fuss needed with nutrients- just 12 ml of Aerogarden per gallon of water is all I used and the Iznik was incredibly prolific. I wish I could post pictures on my review because you’d be amazed at the number of cucumbers she’s still producing.

Best tasting cucumer

I have grown the Muncher, Green light, Diva, and this Iznik mini cucumber. The green light is fantastic for very early and I've gotten 100 cucumbers per vine. The muncher is a great all around and maybe second best for taste. The Diva is great all around also and right there with taste. But Iznik is by far the best tasting and very prolific and disease resistant. It was the last plant out of all of them to succumb to the disease's. It taste almost like it is seasoned without anything on it. It last longer than most of the others after picking also. The Muncher last the longest.
