(Variety ‘Compadre’). A goliath-sized jalapeno, as big as our popular ‘Mucho Nacho Hybrid’, that ripens from a shiny medium green to a bright red. Their thick walls with broad shoulders make them ideal for grilling, slicing and stuffing – or just for eating raw. Fruits pack typical jalapeno heat, with superb flavor and a crunchy texture. Great disease resistance allows for heavy yields all season long.

Goliath jalapeno

Happy with seeds, came early. Bought them for next year. Can't wait to see how they do.

Excellent Jalapeño

Grew 2 plants in grow bags, picked 12 plus jalapeños each week, couldn't eat them all. Canned 2 batches. Will definitely grow these again. Highly recommend A+.

Awesome Jalapeno

My son lives in Georgia and had “bread and butter jalapeños” at a local restaurant in 2020. Knowing how much canning and cooking I do, he asked if I could make him some B & B Jalapeños. I ordered the giant variety from Seeds and Such thinking these peppers would be easier to work with. Also, I found an awesome jalapeño pepper corer at “Cave Tools.”
Well, I planted the seeds in pots and then transferred them to my raised bed. The yield was tremendous!! And I created a delicious B&B Jalapeño recipe. They were a hit with my son! However, I didn’t plant any in 2021, thinking 12 pints would last. It didn’t!! We’ve been out since Christmas so I definitely had to plant more in 2022. Once again, the plants are thriving, and my son is patiently awaiting another batch of Bread & Butter Jalapeños!!

Large, plentiful, hot Grows well in hot climates

I grew this pepper last year, it was an outstanding producer and my favorite jalapeño so far as yield taste and heat go.
