Growing Parisian (Paris Market) Heirloom Carrot
‘Parisian,’ also known as ‘Paris Market’ is an heirloom carrot variety. French heirloom that is bright orange, almost perfectly round, and about as big as a ping-pong ball. Mild, pleasing flavor. Well adapted to rocky soils and heavy clay.
Plant seeds about ¼ in. deep and space plants 2–3 in. apart. Germination typically takes 14–21 days. It is cold tolerant and well suited to containers.
Around 57 days to maturity, begin checking ‘Parisian’ and harvest the roots once they reach the desired size while they are still tender.
‘Parisian’ is especially well suited for fresh eating, canning, and storage.

These are just too cute and very tasty. They all grew very well despite the deer coming and eating all the tops off! I probably could’ve let them go longer to get a bit larger, but I was too excited to try some.
