Tumbling Tom Red Tomato

I had given up on cherry tomatoes- all those huge gangly vines hogging space in the garden. Then I discovered Tumbling Tom’s. Not only are they small enough to grow in hanging baskets, but they also taste great. Perfect for both salads and sauce. Seeds N Such is the only company I’ve found that sells genuine Tumbling Tom’s, so I now get nearly all my seeds from Seeds N Such, so I can be sure to get Tumbling Tom seeds every year. I put them in a high raised bed as well as in pots and in the garden. I grow them for friends too because they can’t find them in any nurseries. Yellow and red are both good, but I prefer the red. And despite being labeled determinate, I was still getting tomatoes in November (zone 7)! They just keep coming all summer long. Please keep selling them, Seeds N Such!

These tomatoes are absolutely not trailing or hanging. They are just as upright as anything you would get in a garden center. Very disappointing!

I don't know why this tomato isn't more popular. They taste great and produce for a long time. Seeds 'n Such is is one of the few places that sells the seeds. Mine are still producing and flowering. They have been very reliable. I grow them in containers. They also did well at the end of a high raised bed.

Not even half of the seeds sprouted; I was so looking forward to gifting tumbling tomato plants to friends

I planted both yellow and red tumbling Tom’s in hanging planters. Although I did not mark which seeds were wich, it would seem the red variety did well. I have already received replacement seeds for the yellow. I will find out in a couple months the truth.
