Growing Information

Growing Proud Mari Hybrid Mix Marigold

‘Proud Mari Mix’ is a hybrid marigold blend prized for its enormous fully double blooms, sturdy stems, and compact garden habit. Brilliant flowers in shades of yellow, orange, and gold rise above extra-thick stems that provide excellent support for the impressive flower heads.

Plant ‘Proud Mari Mix’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 8 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 4 to 7 days. Its dwarf, compact growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens.

Ready to bloom in about 60 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. The sturdy plants create a bold, uniform presentation throughout the flowering season.

Bright, sturdy, and compact, ‘Proud Mari Mix’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, mass plantings, containers, and smaller gardens.

Proud Mary marigolds

These marigolds are amazing. My neighbors and I love them. Semi short plants with huge flowers that stand up above the leaves. The flowers stay bright for a very long time. Hope they'll be in stock this coming spring.
