Jalafuego is the answer to a true jalapeño flavor with a lot of heat! It seemed like jalapeños (both store-bought and home-grown) got milder and milder over the years, but since I discovered Jalafuegos a few years ago, it's the only one I will grow. Performs beautifully in the garden, with good germination, fast growing, and disease/pest resistant. AND I have also managed to grow several crops in a tabletop hydroponic garden! Win-win-win!

Planted on 3/22/25 in Jiffy seven peat pots. Were placed on heat mat and humidity dome- 9 of the 12 seeds germinated. They are strong vigorous plants about 3” tall now with 3 sets of true leaves.
