Disappointed that there were no stripes but tastes goid

These are fast growing and prolific producers. We are picking and eating them three days a week and they are delicious! Very easy to grow and disease resistant

Wow. I had a totally different experience than Heather. My plants took off and grew like crazy and gave me a ton of fruit. i am literally taking the extra down to my local nursery for them to sell. They are sweet and a little firmer than your regular squash. With a nice squash taste. My sister liked them so much that she made me put in 2 more hills. My mom said this is the only one she will ever eat again. I will definitely be growing these from now on. As for pests: I put 1 tbs. of regular Dawn dish soap in a gallon of water and spray them little buggers until they stop moving. Works every time. : )

We are experienced gardeners and while the squash is pretty, and does mature quickly, it promptly died within a week of very minimal pest pressure. (Cucumber beetles) 30 feet of squash next to it are still thriving. The few squash we were able to harvest are bitter. The blossom end never fully closes over so the squash mold very fast too. I won't grow again.
