The traditional Southern heirloom strain grown by generations of gardeners, yet still found in supermarkets today. Large, oval fruits with beautifully patterned “rattlesnake” markings weigh 25 to 45-lb., but occasionally a 75- pounder will be spotted! Flesh is bright-pink, tender, sweet and flavorful.
