Envy is THE best carrot

We have - short season, cool maritime climate, partial shade, iffy soil.

Envy carrots have been our go-to for a decade now. Large sweet carrots year after year. Tried a bunch of varieties until I found Envy.

Will never grow anything else now.

tasty, nice sized carrot

Carrots are so difficult for me. I have no success. I grow carrots that resemble orange pencils, ENVY carrots saved my gardening self-esteem. I planted them in a raised bed, west side, sharing with tomatoes on the east. They even had to share space with a row of beets. They did not care. While they were not the longest, biggest carrots that the pros grow, they were nice sized, and very sweet and delicious. I did not peel them. I did not need to. I am planting these again. I live in north central Wisconsin.
