Just a note. I planted my bush tomatoes as I always start my seed. Sadly, I did not get any to germinate. I had a few seeds left so tried to start them. Again no luck. Sometimes that happens when starting seeds but rarely. I've always had great luck with Seeds n Such. This episode won't change anything. I will still rely on Seeds n Such as my main seed supplier as I've always had great luck with their seeds and appreciate their fast shipping.

A reliable producer of medium-sized fruits.

I've always been a fan of Champion, and I've done quite well with this bush variety for two seasons. It produces abundantly on a small vine and does well in the hot, dry climate of Arizona. It does well in large containers or in-ground. The only thing I've had to be careful of is sunburn. I try to keep the plants from receiving direct, full sunlight all the time because the fruits will burn. I try to give them some slight shade from the afternoon sun.

A Champion you can grow in a container

I've been a fan of Champions for over thirty years. They can be prolific producers of good medium fruits. I was pleased with this bush variety because mine did well in containers. I found that the foliage was insufficient to protect the fruits from sunburn in the intense sunlight in Arizona. I'm going to give them partial shade next year.
