Perhaps the best for adverse weather conditions where disease resistance is critical. Long, straight, tender pods with a butter-like flavor are among the best for canning and freezing. Excellent tolerance to powdery mildew and high resistance to other diseases. Pod set is early and concentrated in lower half of plants for ease of harvest. Purple seeded.

Great producer and resistant to disease

I grow provider bush beans in planters. Every year this variety produces me a steady flow of delicious green beans, from July through October. Resistant to disease and able to handle hot and humid summers and cool weather days into fall. Beans are free of strings, tender and great tasting. I will be planting this variety again this spring.
