i planted 40 cantaloupe seeds only 11 came up the watermelon did much better 38 out of 40,

Grew these side by side with Haileys Best and there was no comparison.. Aphrodite out performed in every way! These produced more, were bigger , tasted so much better and didn't rot or crack on the vines like Haileys best. This is going to be my go to from now on!

Last year, 2021, was my first year for this variety, and it will be my "Go to" mellon this year! When I saw the size they were growing to, I thought a Flat Flavorless mellon, but was pleasently surpirsed, with one of the best tasting mellons I ever tasted!
I bought started plant, and in spite of having ten mellons growing on a few vines in an area about 10 square feet, mellons were 8 to over 10 lbs each. Just one plant produced about 15 large mellons.
I wish there was a space here for a photo of them growing in my garden.
