Growing Information

Growing Antigua Hybrid Series Formula Mix Marigold

‘Antigua Series Formula Mix’ is a colorful hybrid marigold blend prized for its compact growth, fully double blooms, and dependable flowering. This formula mix includes four bright shades, creating a cheerful, uniform display on tidy plants. Unlike many marigolds, this variety is less sensitive to day length, helping it flower reliably regardless of when it is sown.

Plant ‘Antigua Series Formula Mix’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 8 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 4 to 7 days. Its compact growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens, borders, and containers.

Ready to bloom in about 60 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. Regular deadheading can help encourage continued flowering and keep plants looking neat throughout the season.

Bright, compact, and dependable, ‘Antigua Series Formula Mix’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, containers, and landscape plantings.

Quick Germination

I planted seeds of this marigold on Saturday, April 25 and some seeds have already sprouted today, Monday April 27.
I've never seen seeds sprout so fast. Had to get them under
the grow lights right away. LOL
