Extra-Depth Jiffy-7 Peat Pellets provide additional growing space for seedlings that benefit from deeper root development. They offer the same convenient, mess-free seed-starting design as regular Jiffy-7 Peat Pellets but expand approximately ½ inch taller for more room below the soil line.
Simply add water and the compressed peat pellet expands to approximately 1¾ inches across by 2⅝ inches tall. The fine netting helps hold the growing medium together, while the pre-punched opening makes it easy to plant seeds or cuttings.
A great choice for vigorous seedlings and plants that develop larger or deeper root systems.
