My go to red onion

Growing onions from seed is a better way!
I have tried other onion seeds and these are the best and the longest lasting. I will stick with these from now on.

Excellent Onion!

This onion variety is excellent! They store very well. It is mid-January and I am still eating from the batch I harvest in July. They can grow big. Normally I sow the seeds indoor around at the end of January. Then I transplant the seedlings early in March, in CT.

I had serious germination issue this last year. I purchased the bulk packet with about 800 seeds. After sowing twice, I did not get 200 seedlings, most of them were very inferior. As a result, last year's harvest was very poor compared to 2021's. I image the seeds were old.
