Growing Information

Growing Alliance Hybrid Bell Pepper

‘Alliance’ is a hybrid bell pepper prized for its exceptional disease resistance, heavy yields, and thick-walled fruits. Uniform, blocky, four-lobed peppers begin deep green and mature to rich red, while a strong leaf canopy helps protect developing fruits from sunscald.

Start ‘Alliance’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ½ inch deep and space plants 24 to 36 inches apart. Grow in full sun. This variety is especially noted for its strong disease-resistance package.

Ready to harvest in about 70 days, pick fruits green or allow them to mature fully to deep red for additional sweetness.

Thick walled, productive, and versatile, ‘Alliance’ is excellent for fresh eating, slicing, stuffing, grilling, and everyday cooking.

    Great Green Peppers

Have been planting these for years, they are the best I have ever grown, there seeds have always germinated fine, Always loaded with peppers. Earlier this year it was very wet here in Maryland, and had a problem with slugs. Slowed grown at that time but picked up great later. Be aware, some seed sellers claim their seeds to be Alliance variety but they are not. A little high for the seeds, but you only pay for quality...
