Growing Information

Growing Profusion™ Sunrise Mix Hybrid Zinnia

‘Profusion™ Sunrise Mix’ is a colorful hybrid zinnia blend prized for its compact growth, exceptional durability, and bright early blooms. The mix combines white, fire-red-orange, and yellow flowers on sun-loving plants with excellent tolerance of heat, humidity, drought, and disease, including mildew.

Plant ‘Profusion™ Sunrise Mix’ seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants 9 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 3 to 7 days. Its compact growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens.

Ready to bloom in about 70 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. The durable plants maintain their color beautifully through challenging summer conditions.

Bright, compact, and resilient, ‘Profusion™ Sunrise Mix’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, smaller gardens, cut flower plantings, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

Profusion hybrid ZInnias

I started these indoors in 2 inch cells in each of the last two years. They thrive in locations receiving any where from 6 to 12 hours of sunlight in my yard. Compact plants are completely covered with flowers and look great in front of taller ornamentals and vegetables.
