Growing New Day Hybrid Mix Gazania
‘New Day Mix’ is a hybrid gazania blend prized for its large, brilliantly colored blooms, compact growth, and excellent drought tolerance. This eight-shade mixture includes solids, stripes, and bicolors, creating a varied display that continues flowering deep into the summer.
Plant ‘New Day Mix’ seeds about ⅛ inch deep and space plants 8 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 7 to 14 days. This drought-tolerant variety is especially well suited to containers and smaller gardens.
Ready to bloom in about 90 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. Compact plants continue producing vivid blooms through warm, dry summer conditions.
Bright, compact, and resilient, ‘New Day Mix’ is an excellent choice for borders, containers, ground covers, smaller gardens, and ornamental landscape plantings.
