Growing Information

Growing Easy Wave® Pink Passion Hybrid Spreading Petunia

‘Easy Wave® Pink Passion’ is a hybrid spreading petunia prized for its large blooms, vigorous growth, and full, mounded habit. Bushier and taller than many other Wave petunias while maintaining a more controlled spread, this variety creates a substantial display of bright garden color.

Surface sow ‘Easy Wave® Pink Passion’ seeds and space plants 12 to 18 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 7 to 14 days. This heat-tolerant variety performs especially well through warm summer conditions.

Ready to bloom in about 84 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and reach their best display stage. The mounded, spreading plants fill out beautifully and provide abundant color throughout the flowering season.

Colorful, vigorous, and versatile, ‘Easy Wave® Pink Passion’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, containers, hanging baskets, and landscape plantings.

Passion pink and other petunia seeds

The petunia seeds from Seeds n Such come packaged as pelleted seeds in a plastic vial that make them easy to see and handle. However, petunia seeds are challenging to grow. Germination may start off fine, but getting them to progress to the final plant is disappointing. The plants that make it are beautiful and thrive well.
