Growing Chef's™ Choice Bicolor Hybrid Beefsteak Tomato

‘Chef’s™ Choice Bicolor’ is a beefsteak-style tomato prized for its luminous coloring and rich, balanced flavor. Large globe-shaped fruits develop golden-yellow flesh accented by soft pink striping, combining heirloom-like appearance with dependable garden performance.

Start ‘Chef’s™ Choice Bicolor’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. Vigorous plants are noted for good disease resistance.

Ready to harvest in about 75 days, pick the 10- to 12-ounce fruits once their characteristic gold-and-pink coloring develops fully.

Sweet, meaty, and colorful, ‘Chef’s™ Choice Bicolor’ is excellent for slicing, salads, and light cooking.

Best Big Yellow tomato for cold rainy climates

This sets and ripens well even though our summer doesn't warm up until mid-July. Really nice beefsteak flavor and so pretty inside.
