Painted Lady Heirloom Runner Bean

‘Painted Lady’ Runner Bean is a vigorous heirloom variety grown for both its edible harvest and striking scarlet-and-white flowers. The blooms attract hummingbirds and butterflies, while the young pods are thick, meaty, and pleasantly sweet.

Sow ‘Painted Lady’ after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. The vigorous vines need a sturdy trellis, fence, or other support and can be used where both ornamental value and food production are desired.
