Beautiful little short sunflowers

These were beautiful. Mine grew about 2 1/2 feet tall in my garden and had big dark green leaves and beautiful flowers. The only draw back I found with them that was when they were done - they were done and they all died. I'm not sure if I did something to them that caused it but they did not linger through the summer and keep blooming. On the plus side these stalks were thick and sturdy and the flowers were gorgeous.
