Habanero Pepper Plants

‘Orange Habanero’ is a classic hot pepper variety prized for its smoky, fruity, and sweet flavor paired with intense heat. Smooth, vibrant orange pods reach about 1 to 3 inches long and are produced abundantly on vigorous plants, making this a dependable choice for gardeners who want both flavor and productivity.

Plant ‘Orange Habanero’ seedlings in full sun after all danger of frost has passed and temperatures have warmed. Set plants in rich, well-drained soil with enough space for good air circulation and healthy growth. Water consistently while plants establish, avoid overly wet soil, and provide regular feeding throughout the season to support flowering and fruit production.

The 2- to 6-inch seedlings arrive ready for transplanting and will continue developing through the warm season. Harvest peppers once they have reached full size and developed their mature bright orange color. Wear gloves when harvesting, cutting, or processing the fruit, and avoid contact with eyes and skin.

Smoky, fruity, sweet, and intensely hot, ‘Orange Habanero’ is excellent for hot sauces, jerk seasoning, powders, rubs, marinades, and other spicy dishes. Its prolific production makes it easy to enjoy fresh peppers throughout the season or preserve them for later use.

Inventory Note: Plants are grown in waves, so additional inventory may become available throughout the season if a variety is temporarily sold out.
