Snow Lady Shasta Daisy
Growing Snow Lady Shasta Daisy
‘Snow Lady’ is an award-winning open-pollinated Shasta daisy and 1988 All-America Selections Winner prized for its early flowering, compact growth, and abundance of classic white blooms. Dwarf plants become covered with cheerful white daisies throughout the summer, offering the traditional Shasta daisy look in a more manageable size.
Surface sow ‘Snow Lady’ seeds or cover lightly to about ⅛ inch deep, and space plants 8 to 12 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Germination typically takes 7 to 21 days. Its dwarf growth habit makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens.
‘Snow Lady’ can flower the first year from seed and begins blooming earlier than many other Shasta daisies. Enjoy the flowers as they open and cut stems at their peak for florist-quality arrangements.
Classic, compact, and floriferous, ‘Snow Lady’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, smaller gardens, and cut flower plantings.
