Fooled You Jalapeno Hybrid Great!!!

Well I saw these and was hoping they would live up to name. Love Jalapenos but can't take the heat. These are perfect. Just got my first two and they are great tasting with only a mild after burn in the mouth. They are going into all my dishes since I can't take the heat of the others. The plants are very healthy and I ended up getting 100% germination. I did plant them later so they had good heat and I transplanted after well established. August and they are bearing like crazy and I expect to have another three months of crop in TN. They are a little expensive, but for me they were well worth it. On my plant list now every year. I will be freezing my extra for winter cooking.

Lots of popper peppers!

I grew three of these in a raised bed with good soil, and the plants grew over 3' high and kept on pumping out peppers all summer...even in the hotter-than-hot summer of central Mississippi. The peppers are a good size for poppers, with jalapeno taste but not the spiciness.

Excellent peppers!!

Great germination! Healthy, sturdy seedlings. Plants are still loaded with peppers-ready to pick plus baby peppers of all stages! On my list for 2022!

I forgot about them...

... fooled you pepper seeds for years. Then this spring I rediscovered them and gave them a try to see if any would pop.

Well, I was very surprised when all but 2 sprouted. I planted them and right now, August 2021, I have excellent Fooled You peppers on every plant.

And they taste great, without the burn, and their true flavor comes bursting through with every one, no sign of any heat.

Love them and I will keep planting them every year now without forgetting them.

If you want true Jalapeno peppers without the burn, get these!!

Happy Greens!

Mild

I only planted 5 seeds. I know at least 4 came up. I do plant indoors, heat mat, special trays.
These are very very mild. Great jalapeno flavor with no heat. Of the many peppers I've eaten from these, I only found one pepper with a tiny hint of heat.
Great for stuffing fresh with cream cheese.
But don't expect heat. Mine were grown during hot weather.
