Growing Taquito Hybrid Pepper | The Kitchen Minis™ Collection

‘Taquito’ is a hybrid pepper from The Kitchen Minis™ Collection, prized for its compact growth, medium heat, and upright red fruits. Bushy green plants are designed especially for gardeners with limited growing space.

Start ‘Taquito’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. Its compact growth makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens.

Ready to harvest in about 105 days, pick peppers once they reach their mature size and red color.

Moderately hot and compact, ‘Taquito’ is excellent for fresh eating, everyday cooking, and small-space edible gardens.

    Very hot and so cute!

This plant grew 7 inches and then had peppers pointing upwards above that. We grew it under a grow light and had a good harvest from a one gallon pot. The peppers, when red, are very spicy, more than jalapeño level heat. Great find!

    Cute

I bought some of these seeds just to try. Planted six seeds, four grew, two died cause it was just to hot and windy in the desert. Two are doing good, lots of flowers, and now some little peppers ( still green ). They look just like the picture. they are so cool.
