Growing German Red Strawberry Oxheart Tomato

‘German Red Strawberry’ is an open-pollinated oxheart tomato prized for its unusual strawberry-like shape and classic tomato flavor. Dark pink fruits are meaty and nearly seedless, with an appealing acidic character.

Start ‘German Red Strawberry’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. This heat-tolerant variety thrives during warm summer conditions.

Ready to harvest in about 82 days, pick the heart-shaped fruits once they reach full size and deep pink maturity.

Meaty, tangy, and distinctive, ‘German Red Strawberry’ is excellent for fresh eating and slicing.

    great tomato - wrong seeds

I love the pink German Strawberry tomato and was excited to grow it again. Unfortunately what grew were orange tomatoes...they have produced well but obviously the seed packet was mislabeled. I'm leaving this review in case this has happened to anyone else?
