The Ideal Hybrid Cucumber

This is an excellent hybrid variety to grow. I’m in zone 10a Florida. This has been the best variety for me to grow. I normally pick these about 5 inches in length. I have grown these in 7 gallon plant bags and 5 gallon buckets, also doing succession plantings. Understand, this is not a slicing cucumber nor is this a gherkin. It’s a snacking cucumber. Tastes great with a slightly sweet taste, excellent crunch.

Great cucumber!

Definitely add this to your vegetable garden! The skin is thin, the cucumber is juicy and so light - perfect for sandwiches, salads and just as a snack by itself. I always share my cucumber crop with friends but I might not this year - never thought I’d be greedy with vegetables but here we are!

Haven't tried yet

I have not had much luck with seeds this year. Most of the new seeds I bought have not sprouted, but every single seed of green light has sprouted and is doing well in my greenhouse. We have had roller coaster weather this year with a cold Spring, then really hot weather, then cold again, but we are getting rain to relive our drought stricken land. I will not put these plants out until the weather is more stable. Hoping for a good harvest because none of my other cucumber seeds sprouted.

Simply perfect!

We've grown many types of cukes and pickles, and these are just the best. With a 2-3 day germination, vigorous growth, we had cukes in 35 days from planting! We've grown 4 different gourmet types before and these have an unmatched taste. They're best at 4-5 inches for tase and storage.

Abundant yield in hydroponics

We are growing these hydroponically both inside (DWC) and outside (Kratky) with great success. They took a while to start producing fruit but once they did they haven't stopped! They are actually producing more indoors than out (probably due to DWC with the air stone). We have so many that we are sharing with family and our chickens. Tender and delicious, these will be a regular in our gardens. We are also growing in our soil garden with good success but we have such a short growing season that hydroponics makes these available to us year round.
