Also called "Red Meat." Features a watermelon-rose interior that looks like a watermelon when sliced! Roots are large, white-skinned with greenish shoulders, with a mild, sweet flavor. Best when eaten small. Prefers cooler climates, so sow seed in mid-summer for a fall harvest.
