Growing Profusion™ Red Yellow Bicolor Hybrid Zinnia

‘Profusion™ Red Yellow Bicolor’ is an award-winning hybrid zinnia and 2021 All-America Selections Gold Medal and Fleuroselect Gold Medal Winner prized for its remarkable changing color. Flowers begin with bright yellow petals surrounding vivid red centers before gradually transforming into shades of apricot, salmon, and dusty rose as they mature.

Start ‘Profusion™Profusion™ Red Yellow Bicolor’ indoors for transplanting or sow directly where conditions allow. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep and space plants about 6 inches apart. Grow in full sun. Its compact habit makes this variety especially well suited to smaller gardens.

Ready to bloom in about 75 days, enjoy the flowers as they open and change color throughout the season. The evolving shades create a naturally varied display even when planted as a single variety.

Colorful, compact, and distinctive, ‘Profusion™ Red Yellow Bicolor’ is an excellent choice for ornamental beds, borders, smaller gardens, cut flower plantings, and pollinator-friendly gardens.

Gorgeous!

With almost a 100% germination rate, you can’t go wrong with these beautiful flowers. They start off a lovely yellow color and change to a pretty salmon color. They are prolific bloomers and are tolerating the current 100+ degree heat wave like champs. Zone 8a - TX. I will definitely purchase these again.
