‘Jet Star’ is a hybrid slicing tomato prized for its dependable yields and mild classic flavor. Smooth, uniform fruits average about 8 ounces, with firm yet juicy flesh, thin skin, and very little cracking.
Start ‘Jet Star’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 24 to 36 inches apart, and grow in full sun. Vigorous indeterminate vines are noted for good disease resistance.
Ready to harvest in about 70 days, pick fruits once they reach full size and ripen evenly to their mature red color.
