Growing Carolina Gold Hybrid Tomato

‘Carolina Gold’ is a hybrid tomato prized for its striking golden-yellow color, large fruits, and early maturity. Smooth, oblate tomatoes resist cracking and perform on plants that can be grown either as bushes or with support.

Start ‘Carolina Gold’ indoors for transplanting. Plant seeds about ¼ inch deep, space plants 18 to 24 inches apart, and grow in full sun. This variety is noted for good disease resistance.

Ready to harvest in about 71 days, pick fruits once they reach full size and develop their rich golden-yellow color.

Colorful, substantial, and dependable, ‘Carolina Gold’ is excellent for fresh eating and slicing.

dependable producer

I have planted Carolina Gold tomatoes for several years and have never been disappointed. Always good and it is a heavy producer for this tough area.

Fantastic

My girlfriend can't eat red tomatoes because of the acidity. So we tried Carolina gold a few years ago. Nice consistent large almost perfect slicing tomatoes on short strong plants. They do not have a traditional tomatoe taste but my girlfriend wants these every year. No matter the weather they produce large yellow tomatoes every year and we will continue to plant them for sure! I highly recommend them.
