Growing Northern Xtra-Sweet (yellow sh2) Hybrid Sweet Corn

This seed is treated with Vibrance Cinco (VC). Vibrance Cinco is a fungicide blend that protects corn against Pythium, Rhizoctonia, and Fusarium. We were not able to procure any untreated seed for the 2025 season.

Our earliest sweet corn is tolerant of cool weather and ideal for Northern climates. Plump ears with superb husk protection for the 12 to 16 rows of sweet, juicy kernels. Sturdy, tall stalks. Holds well after picking. Solid yields, particularly for an early variety.

Wonderful corn for short season area

I purchased this seed for the first time this year. I didn't have high expectations, we have a very short growing season in the mountains if southeast Wyoming. This corn produced very well, even though we had a late start due to a cool wet spring. The flavor is very sweet, and holds well in the freezer. I'll purchase more when it comes back in stock for 2024.
