Growing Henderson's Bush Lima Bean

‘Henderson's’ Bush Lima Bean is an early-producing baby lima valued for dependable yields, sweet flavor, and easy harvesting. Compact plants produce pods filled with 3 to 4 creamy white beans and mature early enough to perform well in shorter growing seasons.

Sow ‘Henderson's’ directly in the garden after the danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed. The bush plants require no trellising and are well suited to home gardens as well as larger plantings where consistent production and easy picking are important.

Harvest the pods once the beans inside are plump and fully developed but still tender. Regular picking helps maintain quality and supports continued production through the season.
