Fragile plants.

The viability of these plants is low. I and another family member had very similar results. All but approximately 1/3 of the plants died after transplant. Granted it could be my area but other cucumbers do very well. I’ll give them another and try to be very mindful of my technique. I grow many other plants without fail. Sorry to report this. However, these seeds are not cheap, I guess I expect better from S&S. Normally they are great.

I appreciate your service. Free shipping is necessary especially with the cost of shipping. Thanks for being able to subscribe. $50 of seeds expense is a little high even with the free shipping. I'm disabled and try to grow my food. I will expand my order.

This high price seed didn't all germinate. I planted 10 seeds only 6 came up , so I have $1 invested in each plant (2pkg times 2). I hope the cucumber plants produce enough to make my purchase worth while .Other wise I won't be growing any more .

Big FAIL

I tried to start these seed in my greenhouse. One finally sprouted, but dies shortly after I moved it outside. This was in early May, so no frost or cold.

I’ll try again

I got my 5 seeds (expensive) and planted 3 directly into my prepared garden spot. One tried to emerge but failed; the other two, nothing. I gave my remaining 2 seeds to my Master Gardener friend to start for me and he had immediate success. I will transplant soon. I love English cucumbers so I will try again next year.
